An Engaging Retail Experience

The Fell represents everything we always wanted a bike shop to be. As cyclists and regular customers ourselves, we were not massively impressed with the way the industry seemed to be going. Mixed customer service, confused product offerings and a philosophy that seemed to be led by what needed to be sold rather than what was best product or service for the customer.  We have also looked at good practice and the best of retailing from outside of the industry. We knew that many novices and even some experienced riders had mixed views on entering many existing bike shops. 

Hence, we started with a clean piece of paper to design a fresh customer experience for The Fell’s customers.  We want to create a sense of community in our store but instead of looking to the past we’re moving into the future.  We've designed The Fell to be a modern store, with a fresh approach that uses its space very effectively. You won’t be bombarded with a mish-mash of products from all angles – we've carefully selected everything we sell, with quality as our driving force, to make your decisions easier and less confusing.

We always have experts on hand to help with the big decisions of your purchase and our well trained team will always be happy to talk about any aspect of our products and cycling in general. We will usually also have used most of the products ourselves.  Our aim is to provide an engaging store environment and whether you're a novice, club or elite rider, we'll listen and advise. There are no stupid questions in our store.
