A Bit About Us

We're all cyclists at Beacon. We love riding beautiful British country roads, and keeping an eye out for potholes. We know the importance of a good waterproof and mudguards on our winter bikes. We've experienced those unexpected headwinds and that energy-sapping final climb, and we definitely appreciate a decent cafe stop.

We understand what being a cyclist in Britain is all about.  And because of that we understand there's room in the industry for a fresh approach to buying a bicycle. We believe it should be you, the customer, who is at the heart of the process - whether you're an experienced racer looking for a top-spec machine or a newcomer to the sport. Beacon bikes, and the experience of buying one from us, have been designed with that in mind.

We believe a bicycle is a tool to help you explore and create experiences - whether that's competition, adventure, time with friends or just a bit of space to breathe and let your mind run free. We pore over details and obsess with equipment, because we want to get it right. So from the moment you set foot in one of our stores to the first time you clip into the pedals on your Beacon bike; through wind and rain and the joy of a sunny day; up hills, down hills, those unexpectedly stunning views and when that oh-so welcome tailwind finally arrives, we're with you all the way.

Every one of the bikes we produce will be built to order by ProTool Cycleworks. Our stores are open to everyone, from beginner to expert, and we'll always be available to help, advise or just have a chat over a coffee. Because we believe that’s what a proper bike shop should be like.

Over one hundred years' combined experience in the Beacon bikes team brings a unique insight into what it takes to make outstanding bicycles. We see it as our job to make the best bikes possible, giving you the tools to get out there and live these experiences to the full. We have a  former Olympic and World Champion to help test our bikes on British roads, because we know that helps us bring you the best. We're proud of what our bikes represent and we want you to be part of that.

BeaconFell the company was born in the Ribble Valley, near the Trough of Bowland, at the heart of some of the best riding in the country. Iconic, scenic and quintessentially British - it's a fitting birthplace.
