The BeaconFell team bring together a very strong combination of business, technical skills, racing & olympic experience alongside customer care skills that will set them aside in the bike market.  Collectively they have over a 100 years experience in the senior team.  That includes building bikes for the likes of Wiggins, Cavendish, Pendleton and Hoy within British Cycling Olympic Programme. The blend of the team has ensured that Beacon Bikes, The Fell Store and ProTool Cycleworks service centre offer products, service and an experience tuned into the need of cyclists of all capabilities delivered with a smile, courtesy and good humour.

Peter ‘Spike’ Taylor - Director - Former Head Mechanic for British Cycling & Team GB. Worked with Chris Boardman and Rob Hayles in Team GB's 'Secret Squirrel Club' ran Service Corse for Pro Team Rapha Condor with Iain, tells it as it is and always positive. Our Customer Service Guru. Builds every bike to the same Olympic standards. Founder with Iain, of our Protool Cycleworks technical & performance brand.

John McFaul - Creative Director - Globally recognised designer and cyclist (@johnmcfaul).  John created the look and feel of the Beacon brand with the other directors, beard specialist. Has worked with some of the biggest brands globally, including Pepsi.

Rob Hayles - Professional Advisor and Chief Test Rider - Former Professional Cyclist, TV commentator (@robhayles1), Three - time Olympic medalist and double Track World Champion with Mark Cavendish and Bradley Wiggins tends to be on the telly alot, very witty.

Phil Jones - Non-Exec Director - Managing Director of Large Multi-National business and keen road cyclist. One of the UK’s leading bloggers for new road cyclists (@roadphil), wide commercial experience, known for his sharp attire. Massive breadth of commercial and management experience. The most positive person you will meet.

Darrin Robinson - Chief Executive - Lifelong Cyclist. Bike Builder and Triathlete and founder of Beaconfell. Experienced Executive Director previously spent many years helping grow a customer focused, very successful healthcare business. Can do attitude, lots of drive and always focused upon customers. Built his first bike 35 years ago with Campy, along with every one since.

Ed Dickinson - Qualified Technician and Customer Support - always positive, known as Dangerous Ed, carries the scars from his numerous past dangerous activities although doesn't like to talk about the stunt industry, careful, positive and a great technician. Can fix just about anything.

Seb Smith - Qualified Technician and Customer Support - and downhill MTB Racer, youthful looks and witty charm hide a great technician.

Claire Miller - Finance and Business Systems Manager - the organisational brains behind Beacon, manages financial accounts and suppliers, demon horse woman who has competed at the International Horse of the Year Show. Always smiling and a great fixer.

Iain McClellan - Shareholder - doing other more racey things now but still a friend of the team & business - Many years road & MTB retail experience, built all bikes for Pro Team Rapha Condor, a technical guru and master bike builder.  Quietly spoken Leadville 100 MTB competitor, comes with a witty repartee. Founder with Spike of Protool Cycleworks.
