With our store at Whalley now open, it's been all hands to the pump ensuring we have the right stock, the systems and processes are all working correctly and customer bike orders have been fulfilled to specification. Bringing a new brand to life is a big job and over the last few weeks there has been a plethora of great things that we have been working on behind the scenes now coming to life.
Friday the 4th of October was a pretty important day for us as we officially opened our store in Whalley - The Fell_01. It's been a long time coming, however good things come to those who wait. After two days of trading, we're pleased to report that the work and effort that was put into the store design, layout and merchandising has received a big thumbs up from those that have visited.
Our latest blog starts with an explanation around the delay of our store opening, apologies to all who have been patiently waiting for news.
We had planned to be open around 8 weeks ago, the opening has been pushed back by a delay in the installation of the chip and pin service. It’s a small, but vital part in a very complex plan to establish a completely new store concept from scratch, but nevertheless essential to delivering a full range of payment services.
Everybody at Beaconfell would like to wish Matt Hallam well for his participation at the ITU Aquathlon World Championships in Hyde Park this week in London. The event precedes the ITU World Triathlon Championships, where Beacon already have Barry Johnson riding a Beacon BF-55 TT bike.
Beacon have just built their latest BF_55 Triathlon Bike for world class GB triathlete, Barry Johnson. Barry has already won gold medals at the ETU European Sprint Triathlon in 2010, 2011 and 2012. He now heads to Hyde Park in London this September, aiming to win the sprint distance, 70+ age-group race in the ITU World Championship for team GB.
